The end of the second season of The White Lotus on HBO was as surprising as the end of a whodunit. We still didn’t see it coming, though. Tanya, played by Jennifer Coolidge, dies when she falls off the side of a yacht. The next day, Daphne (Meghann Fahy) finds her body and the people she killed to get away in the Ionian Sea. But, hey, Tanya fought back, so that’s something. But she should have taken off her shoes first.
Mike White created and ran White Lotus. Like in the first season, the epic settings (Hawaii and then Sicily) and complicated web of characters drew people in. Who would have thought that by the end of this episode, we would all be cheering for a pair of sneaky escorts? But it turns out that he is best at taking advantage of rich people who are having problems while they are on vacation, and people want nothing more than to see these wealthy people get played. Definitely, they did.

Will there be a season 3 of The White Lotus?
Yes! Back in November, HBO picked up a third season of The White Lotus. So you can expect a new place and a new cast of characters. Also, the network says that when the anthology series comes back, a new group of vacationers will check into another White Lotus hotel.
When will The White Lotus season 3 be out? When will it start?
Season 3 has yet to begin filming. So everyone is still wondering when the show will start. But we’ll do our best to guess. The first season of The White Lotus came out in July 2021. The second one came out more than a year after the first one, in October 2022. So the game could come out at the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024. Theo James recently told Rolling Stone that about six months of season two were shot in Sicily. This gives us a general idea of when the show will be made.

Someone close to the show’s creator recently let Los Angeles magazine know in no uncertain terms that the next season might occur in Japan or even Kyoto. But Johnny Knoxville says White might be more interested in Tokyo.
Even though it hasn’t been confirmed, it seems likely that another Four Seasons hotel will play the White Lotus. The first two parts were filmed in the same hotel chain at the Maui and Taormina hotels.
What will happen in third season of The White Lotus?
We don’t know much about what will happen in season three, but in an exclusive clip for HBO, White hinted at a possible theme. Most of the first season was about money, and most of the second season was about sex. And I think that the third season might be a satirical and funny look at death, eastern religion, and spirituality. And going back to White Lotus could be like adding more threads to a tapestry.
White also said parts of the second season might be used in the third. Greg, Tanya’s husband (played by Jon Gries), and Portia, her assistant (played by Haley Lu Richardson), are part of the murder-for-hire plot. Portia was beginning to understand what was going on.

Who will be back for season 3?
If you remember, only Coolidge and Greis’s characters were in both the first and second seasons, so it would be okayg if they returned for the third season. But Tanya died in a terrible accident, so it needs to be made clear if Coolidge will play her role in any way again. Portia could come back if White decides to keep the story going.
And Michael Imperioli may show up again at that time.
