Amedeo Felisa, a former executive of Ferrari NV, will succeed Tobias Moers as the new chief executive officer of Aston Martin Lagonda, the British luxury carmaker announced on Wednesday.
Aston Martin said that Felisa, currently a non-executive director of the company and a veteran in the automotive industry, will be appointed as executive director with immediate effect.
The British company reported a wider pretax loss of 111.6 million pounds ($139.15 million) for the first quarter, compared to 42.2 million pounds a year earlier.
Aston Martin also named Roberto Fedeli as its chief technical officer. Fedeli is considered the creator of Ferrari’s first hybrid supercar.
“To deliver the next-generation sports cars, and lead the way to electrification, these two appointments will significantly strengthen the senior leadership team,” the company said.
