“I used to play football, basketball, and track in high school, but my talents were always overseen due to the fact that the coaches had their favorites,” shared Benjii Baby as he recalls his past and how he transitioned from sports to music. “That’s when I then went off to college and picked up a pen and paper and never looked back since,” the artist added.
Juggling his time as a student and a musician, Benjii Baby did not compromise excellence in both of his endeavors. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree at the University of Akron for Business Marketing and Sales Management while also putting forth songs that embedded his name in the music landscape. In fact, during his freshman year in college, he traveled across the country to distribute CDs to music lovers in every state he visited.
To this day, Benjii Baby stops at nothing to reach his listeners. Coping with the ever-changing tides of the music industry, the rising artist has also started to spread his music digitally to Lyft riders and gamers on Xbox and PlayStation.
