The annual NEW YOU Beauty Awards returned to Miami Beach, offering a refreshing take on sustainable luxury in skincare. This year’s awards emphasized how the beauty industry is prioritizing sustainability while blending eco-conscious practices with glamorous luxury. Hosted at the 1 Hotel South Beach, the ninth annual event transformed Miami into a vibrant hub to celebrate beauty, sustainability, and innovation over two days.
The event kicked off with a VIP reception and welcome party at the W Hotel South Beach, bringing together style icons, entrepreneurial achievers, and industry leaders. Red carpet appearances by Ashley Benson, Jamie Chung, and Nicole Miller added glamor, while Dancing with the Star‘s Tony Dovoloni and Flo Rida provided stellar entertainment.
Grande Cosmetics, Elysian Parfum, Makeup Revolution, and Beyond Slim® led a stellar lineup of event sponsors. Others, like Seis Cosmetics, Ghanya Cosmetics, and Charette Cosmetics, showcased their dedication to sustainable luxury. Other sponsors of the event included Holistic Zodiac Beauty, Casa Azul, Victoria Duke Beauty, and Blithe. The ceremony’s collaboration with Miami Swim Week The Shows underscored the fusion of sustainability and luxury, benefitting Make-A-Wish Southern Florida while showcasing swimwear that straddled the line between elegance and environmental mindfulness.
This year’s 26 award winners across 19 categories were chosen from over 600 entries by NEW YOU editors and experts, along with online consumer voting. The categories covered skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrance, and innovative beauty concepts.
Grande Cosmetics’ Alicia Grande took home the Entrepreneur of the Year award for her work with Grande Lash, while the title of Beauty Executive of the Year was claimed by Carolyn Aronson, CEO of It’s a 10 Haircare. The Darcey and Stacey Silva Body Mist from House of Eleven was awarded the Best Influencer Brand, further solidifying the sisters’ influence in the beauty world. Victoria Duke, Cindy Prado, Alexa Collins, and Tori Green were celebrated for their creativity and impact in their respective categories as Celebrity Makeup Artist, Creator, Fitness Influencer, and Wellness Influencer of the Year.
NEW YOU ensured that the product-based awards reflected both luxury and eco-conscious practices. CATANO Beauty’s Bakuchiol You Glo Serum was recognized as the Best Newbie Beauty product, and SkinMedica’s Even & Correct Collection received the award for Best Beauty Innovation. Aunt Jackie’s Curl La La Curl Custard and CHI Haircare’s Lava 4D Hairstyling Iron brought innovation to haircare, and Ashley Benson’s ASH collection was acknowledged for the Best Fragrance Innovation.
Networking opportunities were ample, with the NEW YOU Sample B.A.R. creating experiential sponsor activation spaces that invited attendees to immerse themselves in standout products and share their creators’ stories. The prestigious Brand University panels provided further opportunities to connect, with a particular focus on how sustainability can coexist with luxury.
The NEW YOU Beauty Awards captured the evolving spirit of the beauty industry, celebrating not only excellence but also the commitment to make luxury more sustainable and eco-conscious. Vanessa Walker, President of the NEW YOU Media Group, described the awards as a “see and be seen” event for emerging beauty hopefuls and established brands alike.
As the NEW YOU Beauty Awards continue to grow, they have solidified their place as the ultimate platform where style, sustainability, and luxury meet. NEW YOU invites all beauty stakeholders, emerging creators, and industry leaders to join next year and be part of this transformative movement where style, innovation, and sustainability converge.
