Ki’s Kloset Celebrates Children’s Individuality With Their Gender-Neutral Apparel

A mother will do anything for their children, and Millie McKean is no exception. When her son was born, it wasn’t easy to find clothes for Ki. Knowing that she wasn’t alone, Mckean decided that it was time for her to help other mothers in similar circumstances. She decided to create Ki’s Kloset.

As the world moves towards a new progressive era, more people have abandoned some of society’s norms and celebrate individuality. Millie Mckean is among those people as she searched for a clothing brand that could celebrate her son’s individuality. When she found little to no brand that could suit her son’s interest, she took matters into her own hands by creating her own company Ki’s Kloset.

Ki’s Kloset is an apparel company that caters to children’s clothes. While there are many other brands out there, Ki’s Kloset brings a unique take to the industry by producing gender-neutral products. Millie McKean wanted to create a brand that doesn’t separate genders by categorizing their products as “boys” or “girls.”

The clothes they produce come with a unique, high-end feel and are bound to make people’s jaws drop when they find that their clothes are available at a budget-friendly price. While Mckean is determined to make a statement with Ki’s Kloset, she still prioritizes children’s comfort and health before anything else. Ki’s Kloset produces clothes with eco-friendly materials. They are 100% recyclable and made with vegan & cruelty-free materials.

Millie Mckean and Ki’s Kloset produce unique, bold, and edgy designs with an urban look that makes children stand out. Their products include denim overalls for infants, fur coats, sweaters, and jeans. Their jeans contain a concealed, built-in adjustable elastic belt. The jeans are patched up, splattered with blue paint, and include a few creative rip marks to make them more appealing.

Ki’s Kloset also adds fun and some childhood magic with their dinosaur-themed sweaters. Accompanying a cute text-filled dinosaur, the sweater sports four dinosaur spikes that run from the shoulder to the sleeves. Parents don’t have to worry as the spikes are crafted with a soft, foam-filled cloth. Another product Mckean produces is its fur coat. Made with cruelty-free material, the coat has the texts’ Dream the World’ embedded on its back. But the piece that truly makes Ki’s Kloset stand out is their denim coverall. Because both genders use denim, it was the perfect solution to create a gender-neutral piece for infants. It also contains a hoodie. However, a unique aspect of this piece is its zipper. While most run from the center and below, Ki’s coverall runs from the side to the leg’s right side.

Michelle McKean has a direct and concrete relationship with their manufacturers and vendors, ensuring accuracy and quality control. Her goal with Ki’s Kloset is to obtain customers, not orders, and she knows she can do this by selling fashion solutions, not problems. Mckean hopes to extend her brand throughout the country and eventually, the world.
