Promising entrepreneur and business mentor, Chris Graffagnino, deeply understands the value of mentorship when it comes to business. Having been trained by his own father, Paul, Chris attributes his business acumen to the close guidance of his mentor while they were running their family business together. To help new and aspiring entrepreneurs, Chris is offering his mentorship program to position business owners to be successful in their chosen industries.
Settle4Success, a free learning platform, was established in 2016 by Chris with the intent to train people to anticipate and avoid specific business pitfalls. Offering the mentorship program for free to aspiring and young entrepreneurs is Chris’ way of giving back to the community—to help people navigate through their business ventures the same way his father did to him.
Part of the mentorship program is to teach members how to generate sustainable revenues while growing their businesses at the same time. He believes that it is much better to go into business with a guide, rather than go into something blindly.
The impact of his father’s mentorship on him turned him into a more confident businessman. Together with his younger brother, Chris was only 13 years old when he trained under his father in their landscaping company. By the time he turned 17, he already built lasting professional relationships with at least a hundred clients. He was earning thousands of dollars per week while still in high school.
Chris’ father passed away when he was 23. He was heartbroken for losing his father and his first mentor, but his valuable teachings remained with Chris even as he ventured into other worthy pursuits.
Eventually, Chris decided to pursue a career in law enforcement. He sold the family business for profit and went on to serve in Afghanistan as an infantryman in the US Army National Guard. Chris was wounded in the Hindu Kush mountains and was awarded the Purple Heart. His injury forced him to reconsider his career path as he needed to deal with post-combat related ailments.
Convinced that it was time to go back to his first passion, Chris found himself focusing on the private sector and offering specialized services that include risk management such as repatriation and evacuation services. His newfound venture opened doors for him to travel to different parts of the world and to help to develop businesses. Due to his rare specialization, he earned the reputation of subject matter expert in risk management and global security.
The quality of his services and hard work later earned Chris the privilege of being named, back-to-back, Top 10 Most Influential People and Top 10 Mentors To Follow in 2020 by Yahoo Finance. The accolades he recently received put him alongside notable names such as Jay Shetty, Lisa A. Romano, and Gary Vaynerchuk.
At present, Chris Graffagnino is getting ready to publish his first book that should be available in the market before the end of 2020. He aspires to publish a couple of best sellers in the next five years. Additionally, he aims to launch a mentorship podcast and travel for speaking engagements.
