Shake Shack’s NFL Touchdown Celebration Deal

Free Chicken Shack Sandwich Offer

A specific touchdown celebration in the NFL could lead to a complimentary chicken sandwich from Shake Shack in your order. The fast-food chain has announced that if any NFL player performs the chicken dance after scoring a touchdown in the end zone on November 12, they will offer Chicken Shack sandwiches at no cost. However, there’s a catch – your order must total at least $10 to qualify for the gratis sandwich.

Shake Shack boasts that their Chicken Shack sandwich is underrated in the chicken sandwich battle and invites customers to be the judge. The sandwich features a crispy chicken breast free from hormones and antibiotics, dressed with lettuce, pickles, buttermilk herb mayo, all within a toasted potato bun.

Should the chicken dance make an appearance on Sunday, Shake Shack instructs patrons to visit a participating location or use their app to place an order between November 12-19. The promotion code “CHICKENDANCE” must be used during checkout to redeem the offer.

The dance that many recognize from various celebrations has its origins in a 1955 tune by Swiss artist Werner Thomas. It’s worth noting that Shake Shack’s promotion does not include locations at airports, stadiums, arenas, travel plazas, or museums, and further details can be found on their website.

This marketing strategy is part of a growing trend where companies leverage professional sports events to extend their advertising reach beyond traditional mediums. Taco Bell, for example, has been offering free tacos during the World Series with their “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco” campaign since 2015.
