Developing a habit is easier said than done. Good habits often take a certain amount of time and focus in order to fully integrate into a person’s lifestyle. Starting is the easy part, but as soon as the challenge gradually wanes, so does our interest. This causes potential habits to fall by the wayside and, in turn, fail to materialize in the process. Finding the perfect balance between fun and challenging, Sarad Dhungel’s groundbreaking mobile app, Stretch Yo, brings innovation to the habit-building process.

The advent of smartphone technology has caused a massive paradigm shift in how we operate and interact with our surroundings. People from all over the world have grown accustomed to using their devices every day to the point that it has almost become second nature. With this in mind, Computer Engineer Sarad Dhungel conceptualized Stretch Yo to harness people’s smartphone usage for good.

Helping people build good habits has always been the driving force for the creation of Stretch Yo. Rather than using our devices as a distraction, the upcoming mobile app reinforces the development of positive habits with a social spin. Peppered with fun challenges that users can share with their friends, Sarad Dhungel developed the app as a way for people to motivate each other throughout the habit-building process, allowing them to stretch their limits and create a better lifestyle along the way.

StretchYo is equipped with interactive features that boost users’ productivity. By utilizing time-tracking tools and the brilliant concept of Pomodoro, the app helps people stay on top of their schedules and allows them to accomplish their tasks with ease.

Sarad also recently included a breathing timer in the app as well, paired with several guided breathing exercises that can help users relax and achieve a state of equanimity. “This new feature aligns perfectly with the app’s broader mission of not just improving productivity but also paving the way towards the wellness frontier,” he shares.

Looking forward to more future developments, Sarad also adds, “We are working to include AI powered features along with community features. These are designed to help people meet where they are on their habit journey and also bring like-minded individuals together through community features, allowing them to collaborate, share tips, and offer support, thereby making the journey towards productivity and wellness a collective effort.”

Much of the success of StretchYo hinges on the Nepal-born visionary entrepreneur and founder Sarad Dhungel. Inspired by his own personal struggles with productivity, the Howard University graduate initially conceptualized his app to make a positive impact in the lives of college students everywhere.

At a young age, Sarad has always been passionate about technology and the many positive changes it could bring to the entire world. Moving to the United States to study Computer Engineering at the age of 19 years old, Sarad Dhungel found success at the Intel-Cornell Cup, where like-minded students gathered to develop technological solutions to the world’s most pressing problems.

At the Intel-Cornell Cup, Sarad Dhungel and his team of engineers developed SLaTE8, an innovative technology that translates ASL into English. Brimming with experience and knowledge in the field of tech coupled with ancient wisdom of yoga and his life experiences,  Sarad further brings his passion on full display through his latest app, StretchYo. The app has already been released in late 2022, now available in app stores.

It is so much more comforting that such a highly skilled development team is behind this lifestyle app. With an unbridled passion for harnessing the potential of tech for the greater good, Sarad Dhungel and his team are adamant about bringing the firebrand entrepreneur’s vision to life. Users can rest assured that their journey towards building better habits is in capable hands. The future is bright, and StretchYo is set to make its mark, offering a fresh and exciting approach to personal development.
