An old soul with a sharp eye for fashion who is at the forefront of the BESPOKE industry, is just a few things to bring up when mentioning the honorable designer Mr. Denzel Honoré’s Name.
A Flatbush Brooklyn native, Denzel’s inspirations to become a fashion designer were fired up from an early age. He was intrigued by different clothing brands, shoes and accessories which drew him into becoming a fashion designer. As he grew so did his desire to learn about designing. Quickly understanding the layers and levels he developed a sharp eye towards his craft. He says looking good is a necessity for him and wants others to feel the same experience. His favorite brand designers are Ralph Lauren (RL) and Prada. RL for their different blends of eye-catching colors and Prada for their simple sleek designs. Artist/Producer Pharrell Williams is Denzel’s favorite designer for his modern playful approach on fabrics and traditional styling. His process for picking his brand’s name was simple. Denzel Honoré, which happens to be his real name, was the only option because it’s unique and no one else had it. Adding Bespoke expresses what he’s true to.
Denzel envisions Denzel Honoré Bespoke (DHB) to be satisfying for his clients as they’re fitted for exclusive garments while feeling confident, sophisticated and of course sexy. His approach is a modern twist of sleek designs fully detailed while staying true to a classic style. When designing for a client his steps are simple. First, he finds out the occasion or event that the client will be attending. Second, is measurements and lastly he finds out their personal styles and preferences for their desired looks. This ensures the delivery of an ideal suit that entails the signature of DHB. He makes sure that the fit, quality, design and customization are all presented in his craftsmanship. He also designs for female clients with the same approach. A dream client for Denzel is a person who has a profound love for wearing tailored suits. A classy sophisticated Individual who loves colors and wants to look uniquely different but sexy at the same time. Denzel noticed that the player Jalen Brunson from the NY Knicks is a casual wearer of tailored made suits and would love to join his team of stylers and designers, Respectfully.
With his main office on 57th street he eventually wants to open a Flagship store in the Central Park area or in downtown Brooklyn. Five years into the future he sees himself with a thriving Flagship store that showcases his latest collections for pre-sale and sales. In addition, offering his bespoke services as a main focal point of business because tailoring is his passion and it’s where his heart truly is. He is definitely open to having TV and Film clients who need his skill set for costumes or vintage time periods. He welcomes the opportunity to work for Hollywood’s elite film houses. His current client base is men/women in business, Influencers, actors and the wedding industry. His sewing machine of choice for designing is the Juki DDL 8700. Denzel doesn’t see himself working for big brands like LV, Gucci etc… as a ghost designer but would be open to collaborate if the terms are right. Denzel definitely sees himself working with Pharrell Williams in the near future if God allows. Denzel invites all from the sports, entertainment, white collar and the wedding industries to consider his services.
