Zuzy Dabrowska, also known as ”Go by Zuzy.” is a creator at heart and a visionary in multiple facets. She is the brains behind revolutionary fashion company House of Locura, and her magic wand has been waved in ways that fashion enthusiasts cannot ignore, bringing over her experience as an artist, producer and creative director at AITV. She’s also studying as a junior at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU Tisch.
Zuzy sees things beyond the ordinary. Also, the 21-year old Polish, who has lived in China, Spain, Mexico, Switzerland and now, New York City, has seen many things from a different perspective and is now applying all her ideas to her company.
Zuzy understands what it means to be regularly on the move and how important comfort is for people with such a lifestyle. She established House of Locura to keep them comfortable and stylish while helping them create a perfect story. House of Locura recently launched its “Capsule 6.0” products designed to complement, adapt and stand out. The Capsule 6.0 is a step further from the comfortable and colorful sweat wears that House of Locura has been offering since its inception. It is a home capsule, also called “Casa de Locura,” which adds to the beauty and ambiance of a home.
House of Locura’s journey started as a facemask brand before it morphed into a clothing and accessory brand. The recent evolution into a lifestyle brand is all part of Zuzy’s plan. She is known for making daring moves, and in her words, “House of Locura is not a regular company. We entertain all sorts of ideas no matter how crazy, and I say boldly that there are many crazy stories out there. Ours start here.” The brand is currently living out her dreams of building a community through a well-known brand for its creative items and products. “Beyond giving our customers products, we also support them with all forms of creative content such as tutorials that give them insight on the best ways to use our products. We form a connection with our customers to make them trust us wholeheartedly,” Zuzy says.
Zuzy Dabrowski built House of Locura from scratch all by herself in Mexico City. She handled everything from the website design to logo design and product photoshoots all by herself to make sure her vision is properly reflected in the brand. The COVID-19 pandemic quarantine gave her all the time she needed to work on bringing the brand to life, and when the company launched on May 1st, 2020, with very little to go by, Zuzy realized that there was no going back. The company commenced operations without a brand message or foundation. Zuzy takes each day on as it comes, and in her words, “that’s what makes the story so special because we rarely do things how they’re supposed to be done.”
With its array of products, Zuzy Dabrowska aims to see House of Locura sending messages of motivation, inspiration and power to everyone that interacts with the brand. She also made sure the company is run by women who work together behind the scenes to make things happen. Zuzy’s five-year goal is to establish a strong presence in the creative space by collaborating with artists and other talented individuals in various fields. Zuzy is not the average woman. She’s a go-getter who never settles for mediocre, and it’s evident in her results with House of Locura.
