Being multifaceted is a much-vaunted trait that is required in today’s fast-paced world. The ability to be many things at a time has never been more possible than it is now, and people like Monique LeClair are showing the beauty of leading a multidimensional life. Monique LeClair is an actress, artist, TV host, model, athlete, writer and humanitarian. Known to be a jack of all trades, Monique has mastered many things and has found a way to make her mark on every endeavor she has taken up.
The 33-year old comes from St. Augustine Beach, Florida but has lived in Los Angeles since 2014 in pursuit of her dream life in the entertainment scene. She has also spent years building valuable entertainment industry connections with notable names and spends time hanging out and working with many successful entertainers. She recently featured in a music video with Wiz Khalifa and Christina Aguilera and has a lot of collaborations in the works with other entertainers.
Monique’s journey into entertainment was primarily driven by her father, Richard Armand LeClair, who took her to theatres, castings and photoshoots when she was young. He was an actor, model and businessman who formed her earliest influence and motivation to pursue success relentlessly. “He always encouraged me to dream big and pursue the best possible life, and even though I lost him to cancer at the age of 11, he will continue to be my hero,” she said. Monique had her first shot in the spotlight at the Europa Show of Champions in 2012 as a fitness model, where she took the 1st runner-up in the bikini tall class. After that, she modeled for multiple clothing lines and promotional companies in the Los Angeles area. She also graced the cover of TwelveTen Magazine for the May/June 2016 issue and signed with D2 Models, MM Models and Paradigm in Los Angeles.
Apart from modeling, Monique has acted as a theatre practitioner since the age of nine. She took the lead role in her first play, Shakespeare’s The Taming of The Shrew. She has also played a supporting role in the theatre production “Wonder Women” and “Silent Serenity.” In furtherance of her exploits in the entertainment world, she became the face and celebrity TV host of TwelveTen360. She then wrote and produced her web series titled To Serve and Protest, an action-packed comedy about two female detectives struggling to separate their personal lives from their job.
With all Monique LeClair has achieved in the entertainment world, she is affiliated with Snoop Dogg, who also follows her on Instagram. She has attended parties on Snoop Dogg’s invitation and linked up with stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, P Diddy, Lil Nas, Jason Momoa, Tyga, Ashton Kutcher and Robert Pattinson.
Even though her career in entertainment started as early as when she was only six months old, Monique LeClair has worked hard to build a successful life by pivoting when necessary and having multiple backup plans. Outside entertainment, she’s a trained nurse who’s working on becoming a nurse practitioner. And while she’s focused on her career, she’s equally committed to taking care of her child Nova Lee Jasper LeClair, who she gave birth to on November 15, 2019.
She hopes to be a shining light to young people and young women by showing them that following their passion is one of the best things they can do for themselves. “Never quit, never give up, and things will work out in your favor,” she said.
