For many people, music has created the perfect escape they need from their problems and challenges. Alexander Andres Espinoza is one of those whom music has helped enjoy countless feel-good moments. This has inspired him to pursue a career in music while sharing his gifts with the world and connecting with people through music.
Known as Alexander The Dream, Alexander Andres Espinoza is a singer, songwriter, musician, music producer, model and actor. His journey into the entertainment world began at the age of six through singing, where he got acquainted with genres like classical opera, Pop, and R&B. Over the years, he has developed a distinct sound and marked himself as a distinct singer with the creation of a fresh new sound called “Popera.” Alexander The Dream draws strength from his experience of abuse and bullying, and he makes music to inspire and empower everyone who has gone through the same.
He chooses music as a means to change the world and make it better because he understands the power that music wields. Despite going through horrific bullying and abuse episodes, Alexander would still sing everywhere he got the chance to as a young boy. “I would sing at Walmart and at every restaurant that I went to, and everyone would surround me and look up to me and clap! That’s when I found a love for the public. I was always fascinated with music. My Great-grandpa, Ruben Torres, and my mom both saw the potential I had and showed me the meaning behind music and gave me a newfound love for opera,” he revealed.
Recognizing that his musical journey is his way of forging a new path in the world despite the abuse he has gone through and the naysayers who never believed in his potential, Alexander The Dream is optimistic about his growth so far. “My career has taken off quite nicely, and I have a few solid projects on the way. I have an upcoming album that is set to be produced by an A-list music producer who has engineered and mixed music for many A-list musicians. I’m also working hard to collaborate with one of my favorite artists. My dream is coming to life right before everyone, and I hope people see me and start believing that life isn’t over as long as they can keep fighting for their dreams. If you can dream it, you can achieve it, and all is possible for the people who can believe. If you follow your dream and never give up, no matter the obstacle, no matter the hardships, and no matter the words of others, you can achieve it too,” Alexander admonished.
Throughout his career, Alexander The Dream has had some feats to his name in a bid to prove his mettle as a talented musician and singer. Some of the awards he has received include three awards in the National Association for Teachers Singing Competition, For Best Singer, and The Opening Act. He has also taken up a few acting roles to cement his place as an all-around entertainer passionate about the arts.
With his strong love for music and his numerous challenges, he hopes to connect with everyone going through tough times and inspire them to see their challenge as a phase. “Life hits us hard, and we need something to help us get through it, and I want to be that for the people.
