Fashion for Everyone, HONESTGANG Canadian Fashion Brand Catches Attention Of Big Names

HONESTGANG | Fashion & Entertainment is a record label and fashion brand founded by Canadian entrepreneur Jordan Poirier Whelan, also known as Jay Honest (age 27) in Ottawa, Ontario Canada in 2019.

Who is Jay Honest?

At New York Wire, we are no stranger to Jay Honest & the HONESTGANG brand. Jay Honest has helped launch some talented individuals as well as produced and engineered a huge catalog of over 100 songs. By the end of 2020, Jay Honest, now a father of 3, has garnished over 5 million views for himself and his clients and decided on directing his energy and expertise from launching artists, to helping them reach the next level.

Early 2021, Jay Honest announced stepping down from HONESTGANG as a manager to allow more energy and focus towards the label and the brand. “Going from 8 artists to simply my wife and I was a big change, but the toll it takes on you mentally, and physically, to take care of a ton of artists that you constantly have to teach and push towards success, is extremely stressful, I’m happy where I’m at in life and ready for the next chapter”.

Letting go of all of his artists and focusing on the future of HONESTGANG seemed to be effective for Jay as we now see the future unfolding

Can you tell us more about HONESTGANG Fashion?

Taking a very unique route compared to most of the brands in the world, Jay Honest focuses on putting his customers first, ‘’I could not imagine myself being charged 10$ more for a shirt, simply because I’m underweight…. But this is a reality we see everyday with plus size clothing, it’s time we change this, 1 company at a time by setting an example’’

“We pride ourselves on high quality fashion that is made for everyone in mind, while competing with some of the biggest brands in the world. We offer size inclusive clothing from XS to 7XL with no up charge for bigger sizes, something we rarely see these days. Organic and eco-friendly options, footwear, worldwide express shipping as a standard, a collection with CHAMPION, over 9 factories in 6 countries & new collections every few weeks, we have an unmatched level of customer satisfaction while fighting against the fast fashion industry!”

Season 1, officially released January 1st 2022, features a collection of 150+ items with our signature H and Box Logos in a variety of colors and matching sets that lay a great foundation for the future to come. With the best seller being the CHAMPION X HONESTGANG Windbreaker (at the time of this article), we can see how people around the world are starting to gravitate to HONESTGANG’s great selection and Canadian pricing.

If we compare your typical influencer that releases a sweater (Gildan brand) and sells it for 60$USD, the sweater is truly worth 18$ and bad quality, whereas with HONESTGANG the typical sweater is 60$ but costs 47$ to make before embroidery, high quality and will last you years, meaning HONESTGANG is clearly choosing their customers above their income.

Products being tested by Jay and his wife Alaska for quality and embroidery checks. Monthly ensures you are always going to be happy with your purchase, and they ensure their clients that anyone shopping with them that runs into any type of issues, can simply reach out to Jay Honest or Alaska Grey directly to receive resolutions. It’s unusual for a brand to offer this close of a connection with its clients but as the world becomes a more open space for creators and influencers, we see this direction being taken more in the short years to come.
