Krispy Kreme Celebrates World Kindness Day with Free Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme’s Generous Offer

In Fresno, California, Krispy Kreme has announced a special celebration for World Kindness Day, which involves giving away free doughnuts. This week, the company revealed its plan to distribute a dozen doughnuts to the first 500 customers at each participating location in the United States on November 13, without requiring any additional purchase.

Krispy Kreme’s initiative aims to encourage customers to share their doughnuts with others as a gesture of kindness. Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer, expressed in a statement that the company hopes the giveaway of a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts will inspire numerous acts of kindness. Each box of free doughnuts will predominantly contain Original Glazed doughnuts, but will also include one special World Kindness Day Chocolate Iced Heart Doughnut, as confirmed by a company representative.

The company anticipates giving away approximately 2 million doughnuts on the morning of November 13. In addition to this event, Krispy Kreme is also showing appreciation for veterans and active-duty military members by offering them a free doughnut and coffee on November 11.

World Kindness Day, established in 1998 by a coalition of non-government organizations later known as the World Kindness Movement (WKM), encourages people to engage in random acts of kindness. This could involve volunteering, performing a good deed, or simply being more kind and generous to those in need. The WKM believes that if everyone commits to one act of kindness daily, it would significantly improve the world.
