“I’ve said it since the beginning: this is a pathway for players but also staff,” Soubrier said. “The more we invest in our local market and across the country, the more we help raise the standards in every environment by a small percentage yearly. These marginal gains will hopefully transform into better players, healthier players, and well-rounded coaches that will treat and manage female athletes the way they should be.”

“To be honest, no part of this plan and vision is rocket science,” Soubrier said. “It is simply an approach that has combined my personal youth experience through the European system with the current landscape of the youth game in the US. I have heard people discuss these ideas, and I have implemented them for years, yet no one has! The biggest limitation has been human and financial resources; hopefully, this will continue to improve.”
