Silvio Crisari’s Unique Training Methods Helps Players Achieve Success in Football and Futsal

There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to talent. Some people are born with it, while others have to work hard to develop it. But one thing is for sure: if you put in the effort, you can achieve greatness. Young lads who are interested in a career in futsal or football may benefit from Coach Silvio Crisari’s ironclad training methods.

In the fields of football and futsal training, Silvio Crisari stands out as a one-of-a-kind figure. He practices and develops strategies in a way that is distinctively his own. Furthermore, he is well equipped with impressive knowledge and expertise in both sports, with his background as a Futsal UEFA Pro-licensed coach in 2007 and a Football UEFA A-licensed coach in 2020 in Coverciano, Italy. Crisari also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology Economics, a Master’s Degree in Sports and Business Management, and a Master’s Degree in Big Data Analytics.

Crisari’s training methods are based on the principle of “open skills training,” which mainly focuses on not the individual skills but on the cognitive aspects of the game. It allows high-intensity cognitive exercises to ultimately produce exceptional results. In addition, players get to develop a much deeper understanding of the sport and to think critically about their opponents’ movements. Consequently, they are able to make split-second decisions that lead to goals. As one who has been a coach to several star players for nearly two decades, Crisari is a strong believer in how mastering cognitive learning can boost a player’s potential to be the best in the field.

On top of learning the ropes of each sport, continuously piquing the players’ reasoning throughout each game, paired with Crisari’s positive reinforcement, helps develop students’ strategic thinking abilities above all else. “We have been experimenting with this for more than ten years in some academies around the world, and the results are really amazing,” Crisari shared. “These are cognitive training where they practice real game situations with workouts that increase in difficulty each time the kids master the exercise. They are training where there is a goal, but they are open development and therefore uncertain,” he added.

To date, Crisari continues to teach new and old players alike. In fact, he has been the head coach of the National Norway Futsal Team since 2017 and the assistant coach of the Under 18 and Under 19 National Norway Football Teams. Additionally, just in 2021, Crisari was hailed as the first coach to win the Nordic Cup and the only one to win the FIFA World Cup Elite Round back-to-back.

With enough effort and dedication, anybody can achieve greatness, and Silvio Crisari stands by this. While his methods may not be suitable for everyone, they have proven to be extremely effective for those who are willing to put in the work.
