Following the completion of her Bachelor’s degree, Dana secured a role as a Catering Director at an off-premise catering enterprise. In her debut year with the organization, she orchestrated more than 300 on-site events while revamping their menus and services and managing the sales and operational aspects of the enterprise. However, when Dana learned that she was pregnant with her first daughter, she had to scale back her involvement in the corporate events sector, which led her to establish her own company called Dana Marie Weddings.
Little did she know that she would be launching an event planning business just two weeks before the global pandemic hit in March 2020, which would inevitably bring the industry to a standstill. Despite the odds, DMW capitalized on the turbulent 2020 and early 2021 to establish a solid foundation for their business, delivering impeccable service to 18 couples on their special day. In 2022, DMW continued to shine by catering to 19 more couples, with an equivalent number already slated for this year.
