The showcase is a joint curatorial effort between Smruti Shirsat of Goa, India, and Zachary Jacobson of New York City. Their shared vision centers on the idea that artistic expression transcends geographic and cultural boundaries, and that bringing creators from both nations into a single space can spark new creative dialogues. This international bridge was made possible through the support of Anandkishor Mehar and the Kala Anand Foundation, whose mission focuses on fostering global artistic exchange and providing emerging talent with opportunities to exhibit alongside established names.

The exhibition features a diverse roster of talent from both nations. Indian artists in the show include Anandkishor Mehar, Sudhakar Bhamare, Ratnakar Kamat, Swaraj Prashant Thakare, Mahesh Bulbule, Klarisa Fernandes, Dilip Dudhane, Ayush Santosh Mungekar, Kailash Jadhav, U Vijaykumar, Jay Salian, Vinod Sapkal, Chandrashekar Umekar, Anupam Mukherjee, Pradeepkumar Argade, Nawab Jehan Begum, Nijil Acharya, Srikanth Babu Adepu, Anjali Nargunde, Sakharam Thorat, Surya Teja Aelay, Sudha Barshikar, Dattatray Adep, Lalita Chavan, Dipak Panchang, Sagar Mule, Smruti Shyamkant Shirsat, Newab Jehan Begum, Boopathy Thangavelu, Dr. Vandana Khedikar, and Ranjeet Datt Varma. American artists Kurt Stratechuk, Catherine Riccio, and Zachary Jacobson round out the lineup.

Opening Night at the Gallery

The opening night drew attendees from across New York’s cultural and professional landscape. Guests were seen admiring the dream-themed works, which span a range of styles and mediums reflecting each artist’s individual perspective on imagination, aspiration, and creative vision. The atmosphere was further elevated by live music performed by Robert Medue, providing a melodic backdrop to the visual storytelling on the gallery walls. The evening’s music curation was handled by Jax Richter, with Craig Allen supporting the exhibition.
