In Die-Mentions: The 12 Dimensions of God, James Allen invites readers into an extraordinary conversation at the intersection of science, theology, and metaphysics. This book uses concepts such as the Law of Conservation of Energy, string theory, and scriptural references to explore possibilities beyond our three-dimensional existence.

Allen encourages readers to consider a new understanding of life, death, and spiritual continuity through the lens of energy transformation and dimensional evolution.

Energy Transformation and the Afterlife

A central principle in Allen’s book is the scientific Law of Conservation of Energy—energy cannot be destroyed, only changed. This principle is applied to human life and spirit, proposing that the “breath of God” animates us with energy that transitions rather than terminates. Referencing Genesis and Job, Allen suggests, “Our life energy, which originates from God’s breath, may continue beyond physical death.”

The book integrates this scientific idea with Christian theology, describing how human energy could evolve into higher-dimensional forms post-mortem.

Allen aligns these ideas with biblical resurrection accounts, including those by Jesus, Elijah, Elisha, Peter, and Paul. These events are interpreted as possible dimensional interactions rather than miraculous interruptions of natural law.

Dimensional Theory and Scriptural Parallels

Allen uses dimensional theory to challenge conventional perceptions of reality. He likens humans to two-dimensional fish unable to see beyond their limited environment. In this analogy, heaven and other higher dimensions are suggested to be real but imperceptible to us. He writes, “Our reality may be just one layer, with higher dimensions existing beyond our perception.”

He refers to scriptures such as 2 Corinthians 12:2 and Revelation 21:1-3 to describe multiple heavens or dimensions, suggesting that Jesus’ transfiguration and resurrection might be interpreted as evidence of higher-dimensional access points.

Scientific Theory and Theological Concepts

Throughout the book, Allen attempts to bridge modern science and biblical theology. String theory’s proposal of ten or more dimensions aligns with theological claims of unseen realms. The author explains, “Just as past scientific theories were once met with skepticism, dimensional spirituality may eventually gain broader acceptance.”

He references experiences like Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) and quotes common themes such as light, love, and telepathic communication to support his arguments. These experiences often share parallels with biblical events and offer anecdotal support for Allen’s dimensional hypothesis.

Spherical Time and Spiritual Awareness

The concept of time is reinterpreted. Allen proposes that time, rather than being strictly linear, might be spherical—fully visible from higher dimensions. This interpretation supports scriptural ideas that God is the Alpha and Omega, existing outside of time. Allen states, “God may see all of time simultaneously,” reinforcing the theological perspective of divine omnipresence.

This notion connects with spiritual renewal, where human transformation occurs through daily spiritual practice guided by the Holy Spirit. The spirit and soul are described as distinct but interconnected: the spirit representing divine energy, and the soul reflecting personal identity.

Love, Communication, and Dimensional Reality

In higher dimensions, communication is described as telepathic, bypassing verbal language. Allen suggests that early humans might have used such forms of communication and interprets events like Pentecost as evidence. Citing 1 Corinthians 13, Allen affirms that divine love could be the essence and medium of higher-dimensional interaction: “God’s immortal, omnipresent, and patient love may undergird all dimensional interactions.”

Visualizations drawn from Flatland and Tesseract models help explain how higher-dimensional beings might perceive us. Just as we can see every angle of a 2D object, beings in 4D or higher dimensions may perceive our internal and external selves simultaneously.

Interdimensional Hypotheses and Spiritual Miracles

The book also references ufologists and declassified government documents describing “etheric beings” capable of phasing in and out of our dimension. While speculative, Allen proposes these entities could be angels or divine beings mentioned throughout scripture. Biblical miracles, such as Jesus walking on water, are reframed as natural interactions from a higher dimension.

He concludes that spiritual phenomena and miracles may not defy natural law but could operate within the structure of a multi-dimensional universe.
