Nick is the founder of Only The Motivated, a movement that has branched out into a social media campaign, online shop, and brand of motivation for people who need a daily dose of inspirational content. Born in Brockton, Massachusetts— a small town outside of Boston, the entrepreneur and social media influencer started his movement as a hashtag, not overthinking about where it would end up. “There was no sense of expectation behind it,” explains Laureano. “As time went on, our mission became clear. Through being motivated and positive despite life’s triumphs, we found our purpose. We had to believe in one another so that we could excel further and grasp the passion we had for this.”
What sets Nick Laureano apart from the pool of existing motivational influencers is his innate desire to help others without expectation. He maintains that too many people create with the supposition of getting something back from their audience. “I respect and honor every speaker in the game. It always loves from my side,” adds Nick. “I understand I’m a rookie upcoming, and I’m completely content with that. I’ll earn my respect the right way through the power of my voice, platform and work ethic.”
Nick grew up comfortably for the most part. He had both his parents, although they were divorced. Still, Laureano remained grateful for what he had and tended not to focus on things he didn’t have. Later on, he would experience challenges that would ultimately shape his perseverance and work ethic. Now, he uses that story as a source of inspiration for others.
Through every disappointment and challenge, Nick chose to focus on the positive and sought to remain content. Now, that mantra has helped shape the success he has today, which stems beyond just having a business startup or a platform. More importantly, he points back to the internal peace and resolve he has built, something Nick Laureano believes is a prize in itself— one that not many people experience.
