Julia Evans, founder of The Body Method, takes a measured approach to lymphatic wellness, coaching, and post-surgical support.

The wellness world can feel exhausting. Detox teas, restrictive diets, and rotating quick-fix programs come and go without addressing why people feel out of balance to begin with. Julia Evans, founder of The Body Method, takes a different path. She focuses on the systems that influence how the body functions day to day, rather than chasing trends.

Meet the Woman Behind The Body Method

Julia describes her path to becoming a lymphatic specialist as a natural evolution. She began her career as an online fitness coach and model before training as a Certified Life Coach, a role she has held for over 12 years. The work in coaching expanded her passion for helping people achieve optimal health, leading her to become a Certified Colon Hydrotherapist, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Specialist.

“My path chose me,” Julia shares. “I realized that my purpose is simple: to guide others through their own transformations. I believe it’s hard to do good in the world when you don’t feel good. How can anyone reach their potential when they can barely get out of bed? I’m deeply interested in helping people unlock their human potential so they can fully realize their gifts. By cleansing the body and removing toxicity, we clear the way for this deep, internal transformation, allowing us to reach a higher consciousness. There’s nothing more rewarding than supporting clients as they break through their personal blocks, whether those feel physical or mental.”

Julia has focused on a clear mission rather than chasing viral trends. As founder of The Body Method, she runs a full-service wellness practice covering manual lymphatic drainage, pre- and post-op support, colon hydrotherapy, personalized one-on-one coaching programs, and CellCore Biosciences protocols. Based in Santa Barbara, California, she works with clients throughout the United States and internationally, including her hometown of Calgary, Alberta. She also makes herself available for travel, private sessions, and retreats.

How the Lymphatic System Supports Daily Function

The lymphatic system works alongside the circulatory system and plays a role in fluid balance and immune function. It carries fluid through a network of vessels, filters waste through lymph nodes, and supports the body’s general response to infection.

When stress, environmental exposures, or a sedentary lifestyle slow these pathways, lymphatic flow can become sluggish. For Julia, that makes routine lymphatic care worth considering as part of an ongoing wellness practice rather than an occasional treatment. She frames it as one of several daily habits people can build into how they care for their body over time.

Combining Manual Technique with Modern Tools

Julia trained in the Dr. Vodder Method of Manual Lymph Drainage, a gentle, rhythmic technique developed in the 1930s and still widely studied today. She pairs this manual work with Bio-Electric Lymphatic Drainage (BELD), a technology that uses a light beam generator alongside the manual technique.

The combination allows Julia to work in layers within a single session. Manual technique remains the foundation, while BELD adds another dimension to her practice. The approach is designed to be gentle and noninvasive, and she often incorporates it into post-surgical care plans alongside other recovery practices a client may already be following with their medical team.

Coaching as Part of the Whole Picture

Beyond physical modalities, Julia views one-on-one coaching as an essential complement to her work. With over 12 years as a Certified Health Coach, she sees mind and body care as interconnected. Coaching sits alongside lymphatic drainage, colon hydrotherapy, and CellCore Biosciences protocols within her broader approach.

“I believe that people are inherently wired for transformation. Every modality I guide my clients through is one I have personally worked with or integrated myself,” Julia states. “My most essential role is to hold a safe, grounded space and a clear vision for where my clients are capable of going, in mind, body, and soul. We are one team working together to get back to your true, most optimal self.”
