Tatiana Sievers-Robinson, Miss New York Black United States 2026, will proudly represent New York on June 19 as she competes for the title of Miss Black United States 2026. A passionate advocate, recreational therapist, and community leader, Tatiana is using the pageant stage to promote healing, inclusion, and personal growth through the power of recreation.

As a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), Tatiana has dedicated her career to helping individuals improve their emotional, physical, and social well-being through meaningful leisure experiences. Her work focuses on empowering people to build confidence, develop resilience, and discover joy through recreation, creativity, and connection.

Tatiana’s personal platform, “Play It Forward,” was inspired by her own journey navigating mental health challenges and discovering the transformative benefits of recreation. Through Play It Forward, she encourages individuals to use activities such as art, music, nature exploration, mindfulness, and social engagement as tools for healing, self-expression, and personal growth. Her mission is to raise awareness of Recreational Therapy, a profession that is often overlooked but plays a vital role in helping individuals overcome adversity and improve their quality of life.

Tatiana also proudly shares her experience as a neurodivergent woman. Growing up, she learned that success is not determined by learning the same way as everyone else, but by finding the methods and support systems that allow individuals to thrive. Her journey has fueled her passion for advocating for different learning styles, increased accessibility, and greater understanding for individuals who learn, communicate, and process information differently. She hopes her story encourages others to embrace their uniqueness and recognize that different does not mean less capable.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Tatiana is proficient in American Sign Language (ASL), allowing her to communicate with and advocate for members of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Her commitment to accessibility and inclusion reflects her belief that everyone deserves opportunities to connect, express themselves, and reach their full potential.

The Black United States Pageant is an organization that celebrates leadership, scholarship, service, mentorship, and cultural excellence while providing women with opportunities to make meaningful impacts in their communities. As Miss New York Black United States 2026, Tatiana has embraced these values through her advocacy, volunteerism, and dedication to helping others reach their fullest potential.

Outside of her professional work, Tatiana enjoys arts and crafts, concerts, aerial arts, spending time in nature, and relaxing by the water. She is also the proud owner of a sweet and affectionate cat named Simba.

As she prepares to compete for the national title, Tatiana hopes to inspire others to embrace their unique journeys, advocate for inclusion, and discover the healing power of recreation.
